Personal Orientation Project

The Personal Orientation Project (POP) gives students the opportunity to explore their interests and aptitudes and start considering career options. POP is self-directed with teachers guiding students along their individual journeys of discovery.

Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship program gives students an opportunity to design and implement a business project from beginning to end. Students learn valuable real world skills while reflecting upon whether their personal profile is suited to entrepreneurship.

Exploration of Vocational Training

The Exploration of Vocational Training program gives students an opportunity to do a self-assessment for a career in the trades. The course involves visiting technology training centres, learning about academic paths to the trades, and practical hands-on experiences.

Guidance Oriented Approach to Learning (GOAL) / Academic Career and Guidance Content (ACGC)

GOAL and ACGC are complementary learning content designed to help prepare students for the decisions and transitions they will meet along their academic and career paths. The learning content is intended to be implemented within the general education curriculum and provide meaningful connections between school, work, and community.
